We’re very proud to present a new collection of instrumental music, Ghosts I-IV.
Almost two hours of music recorded over an intense ten week period last fall, Ghosts I-IV sprawls Nine Inch Nails across a variety of new terrain.

Now that we’re no longer constrained by a record label, we’ve decided to personally upload Ghosts I, the first of the four volumes, to various torrent sites, because we believe BitTorrent is a revolutionary digital distribution method, and we believe in finding ways to utilize new technologies instead of fighting them.

We encourage you to share the music of Ghosts I with your friends, post it on your website, play it on your podcast, use it for video projects, etc. It’s licensed for all non-commercial use under Creative Commons.

The Brits has a reputation as being the most freewheeling awards ceremony, a night of excess where well-refreshed music industry types backslap for Britain and overexcited pop stars compete to get in tomorrows tabloids. Now add to that cocktail the presence of the entire Osbourne family as this years presenters and, really, anything could happen. Last year, Russell Brand did a good job of keeping the rowdy crowd in check, but shambolic Ozzy and babyvoiced Sharon may struggle. Luckily, there are other reasons to watch, namely performances from Kylie, Kaiser Chiefs, Leona Lewis, Rihanna, Mark Ronson and Mika. These live spots are generally the best bits, particularly as the awards themselves so often go to the wrong acts. With four nominations, comeback kids Take That look unlikely to leave empty-handed. And therell be gushing galore as the industry honours one of its greats, Paul McCartney, with an outstanding contribution award. The Brits Encore follows on ITV2, while Radios 1 and 2 are also covering the event.
